Here’s a quick update for you all on what last week had to bring!
CHELSEA FAM GOES TO THE HABS 
In order to fight off the shorter days, we held a raffle to allow our members to take a break of studying in the student residence and attend the quasi-religious experience of going to attend the legendary Montreal Canadiens hockey game! We raffled off 2 pairs of tickets! Our raffled-off Chelsea hockey tickets went to members Joaquin, the one and only Pedro G , Bobby, and Basketball legend Elias 
.
MORE UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
Thanks to our community manager Fiona’s catch-up meetings with you this week, we’ve heard you loud and clear and are committed to bringing back regular activities both within the student residence Chelsea House and outside of it, exploring our fabulous city of Montreal together.
Here’s how we are going to make it happen - when someone wants an activity we will empower you (help you organize, give you support) in making it happen. This way it isn’t just us deciding - you’re the boss 
THIS WEEKEND
UFC SATURDAY
The Apt 15 boys (Bobby 
, Joaquin Phoenix and Sam 
) are hosting a UFC viewing event in the lounge.
We had our Camera TV expert Hassan 
help us out getting the UFC Live channel on the 70-inch TV & he also hooked up apparently a ton of movies on there 
HÉLOÏSE SUNDAY GET TOGETHER
Heloise is hosting a small get-together as UdM is done on Sunday. She’s kept the details under wraps but we’re sure it’s going to be fun. It’s also promised not to be a disturbance for those still on the Finals mission

THANK YOU FOR SMOKING OUTSIDE
You know it & we know it. You’re not allowed by law to smoke inside a building in Quebec. Not only that, it’s disrespectful for non-smokers and can seep into the walls and give a permanent displeasing odor. We were made aware by the cleaning crew that some of you have been smoking indoors and leaving ashes in the windowsill (and we can smell 
it too). We ask that you kindly respect our policy of no smoking indoors especially since the smoke travels into the hallways and into other apartments. The next occurrence of smoking inside will entail extra charges to the member in question (odor removed by an ozone machine specialist). Thank you.
DISHWASHER PRO TIPS
Since a few of you have had issues properly using the dishwashers, here are a few notes from the technicians:
- If the dishwasher is not draining there is probably food in the drain and you can easily unclog the drain, you’ll find it at the bottom of the machine.
The drainers are about an inch big so don’t leave food on the plates that’s bigger than that.
-If the dishes are too clean, the soap will have nothing to counteract with. Scrape off the chunks of food
but don’t rinse 
What soap to use:
- Half a tab at a time of the Square powerball tabs
- DO NOT USE Tide pods they are terrible because they are way too concentrated.
- Too many bubbles.
- Too much residual soap left in the machine
WASHING MACHINE PRO TIPS
- Please put powder IN the machine.
- Tide pods also go IN the machine.
- Only liquid goes in the drawer* No powder! Otherwise, the washing machine will malfunction.
- Wash towels separately, not with clothes or it is too heavy on the machine.
- Use delicates when you wash large items like a duvet cover.
- Don’t put too many clothes in the machine at once and please sort your fabrics.
